Special Operations & Intelligence Systems Division
RDR’s proven skills and experience have effectively and efficiently supported special operations and the intelligence community (IC) for over 20 years. With operations and exercise experience spanning over 100 countries in all regions of the world, RDR’s SOISD has provided support to each Geographic Combatant Commander (GCC), the Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and its components, the IC, and select organizations within the Interagency. SOISD’s record of performance clearly demonstrates an unparalleled and continuing contribution to the US Government’s (USG) readiness to conduct ongoing operations in an evolving global environment.
SOISD provides expertise in six overlapping areas:
Exercise Planning and Support Throughout the entire Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC), from concept development to after action review (AAR), SOISD provides exercise and mission rehearsal support for scenarios that provide a realistic geo-political environment and accurately replicate interagency activities, decisions, and frictions.
Lessons Learned SOISD lessons learned experts possess a broad spectrum of special operations skills that directly support the mission of collecting, reviewing, writing, editing, analyzing, and disseminating products.
Education and Training SOISD provides uniquely qualified special operations educators and trainers with extensive experience and current knowledge on USG policy and doctrine and special operations TTPs.
Knowledge Management SOISD provides expertise in knowledge management (KM) strategy, marketing, application, process analysis and the associated create-capture-share knowledge mechanisms, presentation, and sustainment for end users and decision makers.
Intelligence Support By conducting comprehensive reviews of the intelligence cycle requirements (collection, analyses, planning, dissemination, production, assessments, estimates, and products), SOISD provides expertise to develop operations and intelligence fusion methodologies to enable global operations.
Interagency Communications SOISD teaches students to diplomatically and effectively present situations, dispel myths, conquer rivalries, and adjust decision-making processes to enhance interagency and combined organizations through coordination, cooperation, and collaboration...the “New C3”.
Additional Capabilities Our experts provide operational assessments and then develop products that enhance effectiveness and efficiency to assist commanders and staffs with maintaining continuity.
